Embark on a unique 8-day journey through Morocco, starting at the "Geopark of M'Goun" in the heart of the country. This adventure takes you off the beaten path and into remote villages to experience the warm hospitality of the local population. Explore a lesser-known side of Morocco, far from traditional tourist routes, and discover the country's natural beauty and cultural treasures.
Your guide will be waiting to meet you upon your arrival at Marrakech airport. You will then be transferred to your Riad located in the heart of the medina, the old town of Marrakech. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the Medina's monuments and souks, immersing yourself in the bustling atmosphere of the city. Afterward, you can enjoy a delicious dinner at a place of your choosing, savoring the diverse flavors and aromas of Moroccan cuisine.
Embark on a scenic journey through the Atlas Mountains as you make your way to the Happy Valley of Ait Bougumez. Admire the breathtaking landscapes of the M'goun Geopark, stopping to visit the stunning Ouzoud waterfalls and the natural lake of Imi N'Ifri. After a picturesque drive, arrive at the peaceful valley of Ait Bougmez and check-in to your local guesthouse. You'll be welcomed with a warm cup of tea, a gesture of hospitality from the Berbers of the High Atlas. Take the time to explore the village and meet the friendly locals.
Explore the happy valley of Ait Bougumez, visiting villages and taking in the local way of life. Experience the sounds of peasants in the fields, and enjoy a traditional lunch and tea ceremony with a local family in the village of R'bat. Visit the local development NGO Tawaya and the village school, and see the famous dinosaur footprints of Ibakliouen, a paleontological site in the M'goun Geopark. Climb the hill to the sacred sanctuary of Sidi Moussa in Tabant for a panoramic view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Interact with the locals on the return trip back to R'bat.
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a breathtaking hike to Aït Imi pass (2,900 m), accompanied by experienced local mule drivers and a skilled cook. The trek offers spectacular views of the stunning Aït Bougmez valley and the M'Goun Geopark, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in Morocco's natural beauty. Take a well-deserved break at the pass and enjoy a relaxing picnic amidst the picturesque landscape. Afterward, begin your descent to the Kasbah of Ait Ahmed, where you will spend the night in a bivouac near Oued M’goun or a homestay, depending on the weather conditions.

The picturesque landscape and friendly locals will make this an unforgettable experience. After an enjoyable day of exploration, settle into a comfortable riverside bivouac near the entrance to the M'goun gorges for a peaceful night's rest. After a day of exploring, we'll arrive at the picturesque village of Tighanimine, where we'll spend the night in tents. Embark on a scenic trek through the Atlas gardens and villages along the riverbank, leading to the stunning Valley of Roses. Enjoy the picturesque views of fruit trees, roses, and fortified kasbahs that line the path. As we make our way through the gorges, take in the breathtaking scenery that surrounds you. Our journey will lead us to the charming village of Boutaghrar, also known as "Berber Colorado," where we'll arrive in the late afternoon. Spend some time in the village, soaking up the peaceful ambiance and warm hospitality of the locals. Â

Driving through the High Atlas to the famous Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, you'll have a chance to spot the highest peak in North Africa, Mount Toubkal. At the top of the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, take in the stunning panoramic views of the mountain range and winding road ahead. Stop at Taddert to visit an olive oil cooperative, then continue descending into lush river valleys. Arrive in vibrant Marrakech and check into your hotel before exploring the lively Jemaa el Fna square in the early evening, filled with musicians, performers, food stalls, and more.
The medina of Marrakech is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, protected by a 9 km long, ochre-coloured wall, and offers a cultural diversity that is second to none. Embark on a stroll through the narrow maze of streets and discover the magnificent Palais de Bahia, ornate Saadian tombs, and the scents of the souks. During your free afternoon, you can haggle with the traders or visit Djemaa el-Fna square, a vibrant open-air theater of food stalls, snake charmers, storytellers, and vendors. This unique setting, declared the city's Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, will enchant you with its fantastic world of 1,001 nights, where countless food stalls offer delicious Couscous dishes and Tagine.
